England Cricket Team

England Cricket team is a team who has attended many semi-final matches of a world cup but never managed to go up to finals and could win world cup. This team is hungry to win the world cup and they are looking set for their first world cup win in 2011 even though not going in the tournament as favorites. The England skipper Andrew Strauss has performed well throughout his career and has always scored runs. Kevin Pietersen looks set in the middle order who can score runs quickly. The bowling department is headed by James Anderson who is supported by Stuart Broad. Spinner Graeme Swann is in a form of his life time and he has a habit to take a wicket in his first over.

The team has the biggest power of Andrew Flintoff, who is the most powerful all-rounder of the world in the history of cricket. On his day, he can demolish any opposition with ease and he has an ability to deliver the goods when it matters the most. The only thing need by the entire team is to support Andrew Flintoff which they generally fail to do and that causes the error. The inconsistency of several required players on the big game costs the games to England and they lose the plot in semi-finals and finals. But, they are in no mood to let it go this time and they will surely be definite to win 2011 cricket world cup.

Indian cricket team has been considered to be the best for winning the world cup 2011. Because of their strength in bowling and batting, they have shown consistency in winning the matches as well as series in recent time that makes them the strong candidates to win the world cup. They have the vast experience of genius of the game Sachin Tendulkar and leadership of world cricket team Mahendra Singh Dhoni. They have the class of Yuvraj Singh and consistency in bowling of Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh.

In the recent times, they have the conquered the places like Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand and England and they have the support of their home crowd in world cup 2011 as it is hosted in India and other sub continental countries. They have the class of fielders like Suresh Raina and Virat Kohli as well as they have the strong bench strength which can perform under any kind of pressure.

But, just like other teams, they have the biggest weakness of loose fielding and dropping catches. The team has dropped so many catches in the recent performances that there were certain questions on such an idiotic performance. They have to improve their fielding standard to best if they want to win the world cup 2011.
